Meet the Trainer - Jason Watters

First, I would like to congratulate you on inquiring about obtaining an Ohio Concealed Carry License or one of my other courses offered!  

I decided in February of 2012, that it was time for me to get my CCW license and join the NRA. Ever since then I have been studying the defensive and tactical aspects of operating a firearm in order to be a responsibly armed citizen. In September of 2019, I obtained my Instructors credentials while proving my shooting abilities. 

As an instructor, it is imperative for me to stress safety and to closely observe every student to see if they have the proper attitude to get certified through my class.

Available Courses

Ohio Concealed Carry
Certification Course

Earn a certificate to obtain your Ohio Concealed Carry License.

  • Length 8+ hrs 
  • $100/person 

Permitless Carry Training

Become familiar with the operation of your pistol or a pistol in general.

  • 3 hours of in class or online training.
  • Eye and ear protection available, but I encourage you to provide your own.
  • Upon completion, you will receive a wallet size certificate!

What to Expect

Prior to Arrival:

  • Register online for an upcoming class date
  • Payment must be paid in full to secure your seat
  • If you wish to bring your own firearm, it must be in a case and will be inspected outside at your vehicle.
  • No cancellation – materials will be ordered for your attendance. Reschedule available.

During Your Class:

  • No live ammunition allowed in the classroom or present during online training
  • Live Fire in the range will be strictly held to assigned time.  Please, arrive 15 minutes early to sign-in and prep.
  • You will receive a range time beginning at 7pm or 8pm.

Must pass in-class test to do live fire training.

After successful completion of the CCW course, you will receive a certificate of completion necessary to receive your Ohio CCW license.
